I own a S20 FE 5G and got to know that there is a virtual proximity sensor. Due to this the screen does not permanently remain off when on a call. Display only turns off when the front camera is completely covered. Any plans of improving the sensitivity area via a future software update?

The only solution I see to this issue is to use wireless headphones or buds. Since it's a fan edition, I was expecting that some corners would have been cut here and there. But overall I am happy with the phone 🙂

Hmm they shouldn't go for virtual one in midrange&up category cause my M51 have standard one its placed under display and works as intended.

True. They could have done that easily. If they want they can also include a headphone jack in every phone. Also, if you see there is slight difference between S20 FE and S21, later being priced higher. If they give every feature in this device, nobody would buy higher end phones. This was the long story. But in short, it's a company strategy.

Well, the display keeps turning on and off randomly when calling which should not happen. In my C9 pro, the screen turns off whenever the distance is <5 cm. The sensitivity area is the front camera punch hole which is too small.
