The newest and coolest Samsung Galaxy S8 suffers from Red tint display. Some say it is a hardware defect and cannot be completely corrected with a software update. Samsung rolling out an update is like a Software bandaid. Is it a hardware issue or a software issue?

Then why do some units come with perfect colors out of the box and some have a red tint. Why did Samsung offer to replace it if users are not happy with the result after adjusting color Balance?

you are right, even sammobile has reported that it could be the hardware problem as even after multiple updates released by Samsung to correct it,their review units of S8 plus still having red tint

In Korea, Samsung has offered to replace if customers are not happy with display after software update but in India when I called customer care they are not even aware of Red tint issue. Samsung India cuatomer care is pathetic.
