Galaxy SThe Diamond World office located in Gulshan of the capital has been surrounded by members of the elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) of the police.
The raid on Gulshan's office began after 10pm on Tuesday (September 3).
According to RAB sources, Dilip Kumar Agarwala, managing director of Diamond World, has been accused of money laundering, cheating and fraud abroad in the name of importing gold and diamonds through smuggling. A RAB team is raiding his office in Gulshan. Details will be given at the end of the campaign.

Meanwhile, CID's Financial Crimes Unit has launched an investigation against Diamond World Managing Director Dilip Kumar Agarwala and its stakeholders for allegedly selling high-quality 'pieces of glass' instead of diamonds through nominal showrooms in various districts including the capital and smuggling gold and diamonds.
CID's media department said on Tuesday that Dilip Kumar Agarwala, Managing Director of Diamond World, has been accused of money laundering, cheating and fraud in the name of importing gold and diamonds through smuggling from abroad and selling high-quality glass pieces as real diamonds instead of real diamonds through nominal showrooms in different districts.
Besides, Dilip Kumar Agarwala has been accused of controlling gold smuggling syndicate in Dubai-Singapore, 3 jewelery shops and 11 houses in Kolkata, India and acquiring huge amount of illegal wealth in Malaysia, Dubai and Canada and illegally investing Rs 40 crores as director of a bank. CID's Financial Crimes Team has launched a money laundering investigation after receiving the initial complaint.
