How are we supposed to use this feature if other samsung phone doesn't have it. Its not possible for everyone to buy an expensive samsung phone.

If samsung wants to copy apple features then they should do it right. All iphone models whether 5 or 6 or latest 11 everyone of them has airdrop.

But samsung's half cooked feature is only present in handful of models.

This is a very big issue with android, resulting in installing 3rd party software on handset. Google should have build this feature from day one of android existence. But they dont have consensus among their OEM's. Google never had control over their OEM.
