Questions regarding Features and Options of Android OS

There are some features in the S8 and Android OS that I do not understand. May you please provide a useful description on what these features do and what are their purpose?

Please explain the following:
- What is Wi-Fi power saving mode?

- Why some applications require access to accessibility and how does it help them function?

- What is phone visibility? How is it different from sharing via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi direct or Android beam?

- Nearby device scanning, how is this different from phone visibility?

- If I close an app via the Recent button, does the app still work in the background?

- What is the difference between closing an app and sleeping an app?
