When are we going to get September security patch for s 20 plus. I have a green line on my screen. Have not dropped it. No other issues. Last time this happened the security update fixed it. Also the samsung service centre are rated terrible in my city. There are complaints regarding their services and I am not comfortable giving my device to them.

Update- I did go to service centre. They thoroughly checked my phone for external and internal damage. My phone was in good condition both internally and externally- no water damage and no impact damage. I even provided my invoice for purchase of the mobile. I was told that there is a process where they apply for approval. Once they receive approval only then they can replace parts. The parts on my phone replaced were screen , some fop kit and the battery. My phone met the desired category and thus was eligible for free replacement of parts. I was charged 502 INR as labour charges. I submitted the phone on Friday and the following Monday I got it back. This all happened in Mumbai.

Try service center once they may replace it free of cost if np physical damage will be there and its valid till 30th sept. Only for s20 series don't expect it will okay with a update ...

Service Policy for Line on Display Defect in Galaxy S20
1. It is decided to consider this issue for only a one-time FOC replacement of OCTA assembly along with the Battery & Rework Kit in the above-said model until 30th Sep 2023.
2. This policy is applicable only for the phones purchased within 3 years from the date of purchase.
The final confirmation only be done by the service center after the physical inspection of the device.
