I hope Samsung will push through with the Project Treble in the Oreo update for Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ or other compatible devices soon. It's very convenient in a way Samsung Users can get the latest updates on every flagship devices like any other devices running android. Also the new features in the upcoming SamGS9 could also be implemented in the S8. Though the programming of the project treble could be pretty hard for it can benefit the people. I want to leave their slogan saying "Do what you can't" to push them further. iwish samsung really could. Brig the smart unlock feature of the S9 to the S8 please.
I don't think any phone with nougat will get treble with software update. Because for treble to activate, they have to do partition of the storage which might cause the device to brick. I don't think companies will take such risk.
