I currently only able to prioritize one contact, to pop up as priority on my screen , with their profile picture. Would like to create more contacts to do the same .
Settings > notifications > advanced setting > conversations > select a contact. It's not a clean way to do it but it's one way to set a priority on apps and contacts. If you want to do it with DnD, you'll have to go to the DnD settings.
