Google play services is consuming too much battery. Unfortunately, can't limit this apps usage or force stop/limit background usage.

Suggest a way to fix this.

Play Store and Google play service are two different things.
Adding Google play store to deep sleep won't help.
I have already done that.

I know that but I thought to give it a try. I can't do anything to play store services, so .
If somehow it solves the problem then good otherwise anyway nothing can be done.

Google play services can't be restricted from running in background.

Since it is used for many things. If you will remove it via adb none of the Google apps will work and third party apps may also stop working.

Some app is stucked that's why google play service is running continuously. Maybe your play store is updating. Do you have good internet speed.
Have you tried Restarting your device?
