OLED displays can cause burn-in if same thing is displayed continuously. To avoid that, Samsung introduced a function called "Pixel Shift" with Galaxy S3. This function moves icons like battery and network indicators in every few seconds. The movement is so minute its unrecognisable. But there are methods which can used to check if it's working or not
