Hi AndyS21, A pink vertical line on your screen can be due to either software or hardware issues. Here's how you can troubleshoot the problem:
Soft reset your device. Press and hold the power and volume down buttons until the device restarts ( this will not erase data, it is just to reboot the device)
Safe mode:
Booting your phone in Safe Mode will help you identify if a third-party app is causing the issue:
Press and hold the Power button until the power menu appears.
Long press Power Off until the Safe Mode option appears.
Tap Safe Mode to reboot.
If the pink line disappears in Safe Mode, it could be caused by a third-party app. Try uninstalling recently installed apps.
Check for software updates:
Go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
Run a diagnostic to check for display issues:
Open the Phone app and dial *#0*# to open the diagnostic menu.
If none of the above work, you can try a Factory Reset.
