Hi AndyS21, A pink vertical line on your screen can be due to either software or hardware issues. Here's how you can troubleshoot the problem:

Soft reset your device. Press and hold the power and volume down buttons until the device restarts ( this will not erase data, it is just to reboot the device)

Safe mode:

  • Booting your phone in Safe Mode will help you identify if a third-party app is causing the issue:
    1. Press and hold the Power button until the power menu appears.
    2. Long press Power Off until the Safe Mode option appears.
    3. Tap Safe Mode to reboot.
  • If the pink line disappears in Safe Mode, it could be caused by a third-party app. Try uninstalling recently installed apps.

Check for software updates:

Go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Run a diagnostic to check for display issues:

  1. Open the Phone app and dial *#0*# to open the diagnostic menu.

If none of the above work, you can try a Factory Reset

If your problem isn't solved by a reset, please take it to an accredited service center for an assessment.

Please ensure that your data is backed up as this will erase data from your device.

Back up data to Samsung Cloud:
From the home screen, choose Apps.
Choose Settings.
Then Samsung Cloud.
Then choose Back up my data or Restore. ...
If you tapped Back up my data, turn on each item you want to back up in the Settings menu and choose Back up now.

Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Factory data reset.
