Pink line issue

Hi, after the last software update dated 23 July, 2024 - my S21 Ultra got a dark pink line on left side of my handset screen. What can I do? Why does such updates damage the display?

The Service Center charged Rs. 236 for preparation of the Job Sheet.
Repair cost as per Job Sheet is Rs. 20,650 plus Taxes.
