Picture quality S22

The phone's picture quality is superior and out of this world but when I share to WhatsApp status both picture and video quality becomes like very very bad. Phone's software is upto date WhatsApp is upto date. What could be the problem?

There is no problem there. Whatsapp compresses picture sizes, this in turn leads to reduced picture quality

It really stresses me because when I take other people photos and send to them via private message and they post. Their nice, very clear🥺 👌

You have to use a cloud storage to share at original quality. One of the few solutions to alleviate compression by social media.

Whatsapp needs to improve cause I was stressing over the same thing.....

Samsung needs to optimize whatsaap that you upload pics and videos they may not lose alot of pics and iphone user when he upload pics or videos don't lose alot of quality
