Phone not Fast Charging

Hello.

my phone isn't fast charging. Using the same brick that came in the box. Please advise.

How can one check that?

this happened with me many times .. i Always try thw following .. first i turn off fast charging and charge the phone for a few seconds then unplug it and activate fast changing again .. in most times it works .. if not i unplug the whole charger from the phone then try again .. and it works in the end

bhai..i have galaxy a5 2017 model bt fast charging isnt working in most of d time...recently i have updated..aftr tht only this problem started..plzzz help?

for marshmallow go to settings > battery > and then turn off fast charging from the option down low

or for nougat go to settings > device maintenance > battery >click the more option button ( three dots in the top right corner > advanced settings > and then turn off fast charging
