My phone (S23 ultra) suddenly started dropping calls and losing signal in areas that have very strong signal before. Steps taken so far that resulted in no changes:
1. Checked with service provider for any issues, none reported. Plus the problem is definitely not area specific.
2. Reset network settings.
3. Did factory restart.
4. Changed sim card and changed sim card slot (from sim 1 to 2).
5. Checked and downloaded latest system upgrade today.

The Samsung care center here would require the phone to be with them at least 2 weeks to inspect the issue and then advise the solution if any, I would need to purchase another phone to last 2 weeks waiting.

Can anyone help or advice if they faced a similar issue?

Kindly try the below:

1. Verify that the SIM card is installed correctly and is not damaged.
You can contact your carrier for assistance in testing the SIM. Alternatively, if you have another phone that works with the same carrier, try inserting the SIM card into that phone and testing to see if it still drops calls. If it does, you may need to get a replacement SIM card from your carrier.

2. Inspect the phone for physical or liquid damage.

3. Turn off Wi-Fi Calling.

Wi-Fi Calling will use your phone's network connection to make a call. You can try turning this off instead.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please visit the nearest service center:
