The whole issue is related to the sales of the S25, which are lower than expected for Samsung, I believe.
The difference between the S24 and S25 isn’t significant in terms of hardware or software.
And if the S24 gets the update, there won’t be any noticeable difference between the two phones.
On the contrary, the S24 is almost half the price, so the sales of the new phone will drop even more than they already have.
As for pulling the update due to a bug — that’s pure nonsense. Six beta versions were released before the official launch, and all issues were resolved.
This is just a weak excuse from Samsung to delay the release further. Within a day or two, they’ll announce a new date, likely April 21, and by then there’ll be a new excuse for another delay.
Get ready for the release at the beginning of May.
