It's that time of the year again where those of us in South Africa, (and most of Africa), will complain non-stop about the non-availability of the latest OneUI update in our regions/countries.

Samsung doesn't seem to realise that the countries and regions they do not include for the beta testing also have a lot of people willing to test and try out the latest changes that will come with the future release.

Dear SAMSUNG please rollout future OneUI beta updates to all countries at the same time✌🏾

Pixel and iPhones do this and we feel left out every year🥺

Samsung focuses beta rollouts on these regions to control the scale of participation, as widespread availability could overwhelm servers and complicate bug tracking from diverse carrier networks and languages. Countries like South Korea (Samsung's home market) and major markets such as the US and UK provide diverse hardware variants and real-world usage data essential for polishing features before stable release

Unfortunately for Us in south africa, we sont have the majority in terms of power users were the majority of Samsung users are on A series not S

And why doesn't Apple or Google or other phone manufactureres worry about this "scale of participation"? 🤔

The exact reason I can admit I dont know
But think about it , Apple owns hardware and software and Google also owns its software and hardware
But for samsung it's different
Samsung's restrictions stem from the complexity of its extensive Android customization and a desire for tighter control to deliver more polished updates faster—unlike Google/Apple's stock(ish) OS on controlled hardware. Critics argue this makes Samsung feel "behind" on inclusivity, but it aligns with their strategy to avoid beta chaos. If you're outside supported regions, the stable release usually arrives polished a few months later!
At this point it can be anyone s guess.
When IOS 26 came out it was a joke, it was baggy and laggy and people made fun of it saying its a joke ,that was because many iphone users had excess to it as a beta not as the polished product

So it's anyone's opinion at this point

You, my friend, need to read these latest posts by Samsung's number one cheerleader.

He is right!
Samsung has been scamming us for at least 5yrs now.

I come from Reunion Island and I am really disappointed with Samsung not deploying in all countries like Apple does on almost all their iPhones. I am on an A35 5G, I thought I would have the beta but no actually. 😤
