Turn on the Power Saving Option. And turn off the Always on Display if enabled and Decrease brightness by 10%.
Other than that when not using keep the Location and Bluetooth off. And use Auto Brightness or use it many by adjusting the brightness according to the environment. And after the update after like 1 week the One UI 8 will fully settle in yiur device. And after that the battery performance will improve.

Wipe the cache partition, it will address the issue.

To improve battery performance after updating to One UI 8 on your Samsung device, you can try the following:

Restart your phone – a fresh start helps the system settle after an update. Wipe cache partition – clears temporary system files that may slow battery performance. Check battery usage – go to Settings → Battery and device care → Battery → Usage since full charge and see which apps drain the most. Enable Adaptive Battery – this limits battery use for apps you don’t use often. Reduce screen brightness & refresh rate – lowering brightness and using 60 Hz instead of 120 Hz can save battery. Disable unused features – turn off Bluetooth, GPS, or Always On Display when not needed. Update apps – ensure all apps are updated to work efficiently with One UI 8.
