While I understand the frustration with update timing, it’s important to recognize that Samsung is working hard to improve software support. They’ve been providing regular updates for their flagship devices, including security patches, and have made significant strides with One UI. Apple may be known for its timely updates, but Samsung offers a lot of customization and features that some users really appreciate. Plus, the upcoming updates are often tied to bigger events, so we might see improvements soon. It’s not always just about the speed of updates but also about providing quality and stability, which Samsung has been delivering consistently.

Come on. Stop saying samsung provides lots of customization. IOS 18 has also the features and one ui 7 has copied couple of tricks from ios. It's good that we will have a somewhat similar UI experience, but still always defending samsung on basis of customization is not correct.

It is samsung's job to improve software support, that's what the money spent on their products is for.....

Ah, I see what you're saying now! You're pointing out the idea that comparing iOS 17 to One UI 7 is more fitting because it's about how Samsung's One UI has its own unique features and customizations, while iOS sticks to its own design principles. It makes sense to defend Samsung here, as their One UI offers some pretty cool features like multitasking, customization, and a more flexible design approach, which many users love. Apple, on the other hand, tends to keep its design a lot more uniform and controlled.

But I think it's important to recognize that Samsung offers a level of customization and flexibility that iOS still doesn't match. One UI isn't just about copying features; it's about creating an experience that lets users tailor their devices in ways iOS doesn't allow—things like custom themes, more control over how apps are displayed, and deeper system-level adjustments. While iOS 18 has certainly taken some cues from Android, including One UI, that doesn't take away from Samsung's achievements in making its own unique user experience.
