Since I installed the update, I noticed that my battery depletes much faster than it did previously 😢.

Which phone are you using, and is it the 05 February security patch?

Normally, I'd suggest clearing the cache partition in Android Recovery, but apparently this update removes that option

Oh man. I will see how it goes. I regret updating 😂. It was fine as is. Thanks for the help 🙏

There's a few things you can do to improve battery life again. The update may have returned some settings back to default. Go to Settings and search for the following terms.
1. Nearby Device Scanning. Turn it off.
2. Wifi Scanning. Turn it off.
3. Bluetooth Scanning. Turn it off.
4. Go to Location settings and turn off Precise Location.
5. Go to the Apps list and set every app that doesn't need to run constantly in the background to Restricted.
6. Turn off notifications for any app that doesn't need it.
These are some very basic settings but they're proven to improve battery life.
