Galaxy SDear Samsung,
Your One UI 7 is worse than One UI 6 — and that says a lot, because One UI 6 was already far better in both performance and features. One UI 7 **bleep** when it comes to performance and feature stability. It genuinely feels like you’ve downgraded One UI 6 just to release One UI 7. I now have to swipe the home button three times just to exit an app — seriously?
In landscape mode, especially while gaming or watching videos, the new Gemini (Circle to Search) function doesn’t even work. It **bleep** that such a key feature fails entirely in horizontal mode.
Also, I really miss the old Sound and Effects menu, where we could fine-tune sound using two dials — one for instruments and one for bass. That feature gave us real control. Now, it’s gone in favor of a watered-down experience.
In your attempt to copy Apple, you’ve forgotten what made Samsung great. You’ve ignored the powerful and unique features that once set your phones apart. Right now, it seems like you’re spreading yourselves too thin. With so many phone models, you’re clearly struggling to provide consistent quality, performance, and stable UI across the board. If that’s the case, maybe you should simplify your lineup — focus only on the S Series and the Z Fold Series. Discontinue the rest if you can’t manage them properly or efficiently.
You're also losing badly in the mid-range and budget segments. If you can’t offer quality there, then stop making those devices. Instead, focus on your flagships — people can always buy older models if needed. Quality over quantity should be your motto.
To me and many others, Samsung is starting to look selfish — more focused on profit than on user experience. And while Apple may not be perfect either, at least they stay consistent. If you keep heading in this direction, you will lose your loyal base in the coming years.
Please, stop chasing Apple. Be Samsung. Many Apple users are switching to your platform to experience something different — not the same Apple-like experience.
