I recently updated my Galaxy S21 Ultra to One UI 7.0 and wanted to share my experience so far.
First things first — yes, I did notice the battery drain issue right after the update, just like many others reported here. It was definitely higher than usual and had me a bit concerned.
But here's what helped:
I booted my device into Recovery Mode and performed a Wipe Cache Partition. After doing that, I saw a significant improvement in battery life!
If you're facing similar issues, I definitely recommend giving this a try — it made a real difference for me.
As for device heating – I personally didn’t feel any unusual heat before or after the cache wipe, so that’s a relief.
On the positive side, animations are super smooth and fluid now. Feels like the phone got a performance boost!
Also, I’m absolutely loving the new DIY Home feature — it's fun and gives a fresh personalized vibe to the device. There are so many other small tweaks and additions that make One UI 7.0 a joy to use.
