G'evening Samsung members. So many people have complained about the late delivery of this supposed top class upgrade. Many folks have also vented that it's not as good as was punted by the media out there. I received it a few weeks ago and quite frankly don't know what's so good about it (at all). Phone's are for calling and talking to people. How does this upgrade enhance that? No offense to gamers, wallpaper fans and emoji folks. All this hype and bollox amazes me. I respect that flagship phone owners should get what they signed up for but ohe mye goshe, moving to Apple or elsewhere because of a hyped up update, seriously?
The thing is that most people use their smart phones for more than just phoning and talking to people... If that's all I wanted to do then I could buy a Nokia flip phone and call it a day... People spend thousands on phones to get the best quality... Why would I stick to samsung who doesn't deliver instead of moving to apple who does deliver and is equal, if not better in terms of tech, to samsung. If I'm paying upwards of 20 or 30 k on a phone I expect nothing but the best...We are past the age where you spend a ridiculous amount of money to simply talk to someone, most people's entire life is on their phones- calenders, contacts, gaming, art, business you name it and it's there on the phone, so it's not really a surprise to see how many people would switch over to apple or other phone brands because of a ''hyped up update'' that either didn't deliver or simply hasn't even been released tot hat specific smartphone series.
Well said. Personally I do much of photography, video graphy, graphics designing, (at times gaming PUBG to be precise), Social Media Handles, Heavy downloads and uploads, music, and quite a long chain of business hustles including tourism and touring.
I at least need optimisations in the camera, cpu, ram....lets just say a whole phone performance optimisation which usually comes with software updates. I may nit be as disappointed as others, but the truth is one ends up looking forward to the OS updates.
