It was revealed yesterday that Samsung will soon open the ONE UI 4.0 beta program for the GALAXY S20 series. Today, the South Korean firm has announced that interested Galaxy S20 owners in the US can start beta-testing the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update.

Right now, the One UI 4.0 beta program is only open for unlocked variants of the Galaxy S20, GALAXY S20 ULTRA in the US. Hopefully, the beta program will soon be expanded to the carrier-locked variants of these high-end smartphones. If you want to install this update on your Galaxy S20 series smartphone, you’ll have to install the Samsung Members app, log in using your Samsung account, and then click on the One UI Beta Programme banner on the app’s home page.

Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update brings a revamped UI design, complete with Google’s Material You-inspired color themes. The new software also brings more widgets with a newer design, an updated widget picker menu, updated stock apps, improved Samsung Internet and Samsung Keyboard apps, and better privacy and security. It is possible that Samsung will soon release the One UI 4.0 beta update for the Galaxy S20 series in other markets, including China, Germany, India, South Korea, and the UK
