So I loaded up One UI 4.0 beta 3 on my S21 Ultra. Have noticed quite a substantial improvement in overall system stability as well as improved performance.  Can't wait to see the polished product

Most of them have already integrated Android 12 support. WhatsApp appears to be the only pain but that involves a video bug on WhatsApp's end can confirm. Have received feedback from Whatsapp regarding it.

Quality is the best. I flatout refuse to leave WQHD+. It just doesn't feel smart if you will on the other presets. From this point on it can only get better.

Agreed regarding SA network providers. But that's my reasoning as well. I opt'd to stick to the Global unlocked versions (Germanys varient). Have confirmed my warranty is still valid with Samsung and Samsung Care+ is still valid as well post change the device software to the international varient. Not to mention Vodacom/MTN really need to slow down the bloatware. The phone came with all of Vodacom's crappy apps. I kid you not maybe 30min-45mins after unboxing and I had already been on One UI 4.0 Beta 1 and using the global varient of the software.

If you get frustrated . I'd say wing it and sideload. It's fun to do . And it's had updates to improve stability .

Before my S21 on my S10 we waited I think it was 7 months for the One UI. They had already gone into sub varients of One UI and we were only getting the baseline version.

As weird as it may seem you actually prolong your phones health by sideloading. Think about being stuck with One UI 3.1 till June 2022. It's a bit scary and detrimental to battery health by consistently heating battery up through CPU Heat or draining it because of said bugs given the current reports and bugs. One UI 4.0 even in it's current state is what the phone should have released with.

I'll give you a shout when the global stable update is out if youd like to change. But will also keep you posted on the current betas. What's wrong. What's note. Etc.

I'll be sure to test my battery on normal usage. My usage has not been normal as I'm truly in love with this phone. but I'm certain a full charge and discharge without excessive usage should be accurate. I make a point of resetting ( NOT WIPING ) the devices hardware stats and counters bi-weekly to keep the the battery health accuracy in check and the system can do it's normal integrity checks on the hardware.

Now you're making me want to go back to quad HD😭😂

I wish I could do the same but I got mine on contract so quite limited to what I can do. That was so quick switching to Beta😂 so you basically barely used One UI 3.1 on the S21

That is a really long wait shu

Hope you can see the screenshot I attached of my battery for the day, I used my phone quite a lot today and by the time it was 18:00 it was already time to charge. I got 6 hours SOTScreenshot_20211027-181256_Device care.jpg

Just a heads up Beta 3 had 2 iterations. The first iteration had issues which is what you'll see in some of those comments. The 2nd iteration included the hotfix and was released a few hours later. The have since deleted the first iteration which had the gallery and camera bug. They then rereleased it with the hotfix and it's been pretty much fun ever since

RAM Plus ( virtual memory is a new feature as well ) can confirm it is not detrimental to the phones performance as it was only utilized when I had run Fortnite as a benchmark. Screenshot_20211026-195447_Device care_13026.jpg
