This has been raised before but I'm raising it again to keep it live.

I use a Galaxy s21 and for all intents and purposes, its great phone. But there is one major piece of user experience that it is lacking that all other smart phones seem to have implemented, both iphone and other androids.

That is, I should be able to keep my notifications hidden on the lock screen until my phone recognises me using facial recognition.

You would need to have 'swipe to unlock' on but this simple feature would make a huge difference to the user experience. The current setup means you either have to unlock and open your phone to see notifications, or they are visible to anyone who picks up your phone, regardless of whether it is locked or not.

I moved to Samsung from an old Huawei and even that had this feature and it was new about 5 years ago!

My hope is that if this keeps getting attention then the change will happen.
