No Noise Cancellation in WhatsApp Voice Notes (Buds 3 Pro)

Issue Description: On both my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and S26 Ultra, when using Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, the AI-based voice isolation works perfectly during GSM calls and WhatsApp calls. However, it completely fails during WhatsApp voice note recordings.


 During voice note recording, all environmental noise (road noise, air conditioning, background sounds) is captured with no suppression, as if Voice Focus is not applied at all, despite being enabled. Technical Observation: This strongly indicates a Bluetooth profile handling issue: Voice isolation works correctly in Call mode (HFP/HSP) Fails in Multimedia/recording mode (A2DP or related input path) used by WhatsApp voice notes It appears that AI voice isolation is not applied when the Buds operate outside call mode, which points to a system-level limitation or bug. 


Troubleshooting Performed (Exhaustive): I have already performed all possible standard and advanced troubleshooting steps, including: Updating Galaxy Buds firmware, Galaxy Wearable app, and phone software to the latest versions Restarting both devices and reconnecting from scratch Fully resetting the earbuds via Galaxy Wearable Re-pairing the earbuds multiple times Testing on two separate devices (S25 Ultra & S26 Ultra) with identical results The issue persists consistently across devices, confirming this is not device-specific and not due to user configuration.



 Conclusion: Given that: The feature works correctly in calls The issue is reproducible across multiple flagship devices All troubleshooting steps have been exhausted This is very likely a software limitation or bug related to Bluetooth profile switching and audio processing paths.
