No Kernel upstream ?

In above screen shot my samaung s23+ got update from android 13 to 14 to android 15 but kernel still on android 13. Why ? Anybody knows ?

Its normal , This is the kernel version of Linux system 5.×× and it is the latest, compiled with Android 15, and Android 13-×× is not the reflected software version, it shows that Android 15 uses the old Android 13 tree structure and then updated and certified for this latest Android OS 15.

It's not limited to Samsung. Even Google hardly updates the Kernel version on their Pixel lineup.
