After updating S25 Ultra to One UI 8, Netflix app has surprisingly stopped streaming FHD quality. Tried all the solutions as per below...

- Remote checking by Netflix team
- Factor reset
- Login from other device with same Netflix account (works perfectly fine on other devices)

Is anyone else facing the same issue? Or is there any solution to this?

Thanks.

Thank you for sharing your concern regarding the Netflix streaming quality on your Galaxy S25 Ultra after the One UI 8 update.

In some cases, streaming quality on applications such as Netflix may be affected after a software update due to application compatibility, DRM verification, or temporary synchronization between the application and the device system.

To help resolve the issue, we kindly recommend trying the following steps:

  1. Ensure that the Netflix application is updated to the latest version through the Google Play Store.
  2. Go to Settings > Apps > Netflix > Storage, then clear cache and restart the device.
  3. Ensure that your device software is updated to the latest version by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
  4. Check the playback settings inside the Netflix application and ensure that the streaming quality is set to the highest available option.
  5. Try signing out of the Netflix application and signing in again after restarting the device.
  6. If the issue continues after performing the above steps, we recommend waiting for further updates to the Netflix application or system software, as compatibility improvements are often released following major software updates.
