I recently started using the S series phone runningOneUI 6.1. Before it, I was using A series runningOneUI 5.1 for a long time.
Now, as I'm usingOne UI 6, I didn't find the navigation bar gesture, which I think was aunique gesture. (3 buttons full screen gesture).

I really miss it now....

Will I get thisnavigation gesture again inOne UI 7 samsung? Or is it lost forever?

Go to settings > Display > scroll down to find navigation bar. It is available in one UI 7.0 also. See screen shots posted.

As per your query, we want to inform you that since you are currently using the UI 6.1 software on your device, we have checked and confirmed that the navigation gesture full screen option is available.

You can enable the navigation gesture option on your device by following the steps outlined below:

Path: Setting> Display> Navigation bar> You can see two options navigation gesture. Here you can choose needed option by butttons or full screen.

If the issue persists, kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send).
