Hey guys

So I got my android Pie update on my S9+ last night and I'm loving the new look and features so far. Just one issue though. Earlier i could hide my navigation bar in most apps like fb, chrome etc but now i only have the option of having gestures or a fully visible navigation bar. How can i use the navigation bar by hiding it like before? All my apps have full screen mode enabled already.

There's no double tap button to hide the navigation bar? I'm starting to doubt this upcoming update for my Note 9.

So far haven't found it. Hoping there is a way around for this.
