My s24 ultra is indicating that I'm in a phone call even when I'm not.
This has happened many times unfortunately, and it resaults in my alarm noot playing from the loud speakers but instead from the call speakers which is no way I can hear it when I'm asleep.
This is basically a new fear unlocked for me, being afraid of not hesring my alarms and not waking up for my work.

😱

@samsung please do something about this!

Has anyone found a solution to this issue? It keeps happening to my phone and it has become an inconvenience to restart my phone quite often.

Same phone, same problem. This is an extremely expensive phone, how is the software not working properly.

I tried to change my samsung earbud settings to fix an issue (audio is very low, and low quality), the UI indicates I'm in a call. I'm not. This led me to this forum.

Very worrying issue, considering selling the phone to be honest, extremely frustrating too. Restarting is the only fix and doesn't last long. No other phone I owned does this.

Was experiencing same problem. My buds 2 pro while watching media, if i tried to adjust media volume, the phone would adjust call volume. Same issue as well as the alarms not ringing.

i found the problem to be whatsapp calls. If i force stopped the app. the problem would go away. I then cleared the whatsapp cache and disabled battery optimization. For now this seems to have solved my problem.

Same problem  here. It's been happening for a while and this is with my earbuds pro3. I've had several funny behaviors on all my newsamsung devices that carries over from my old hardware (s21 + ear buds pro 3 to s24 + ear buds pro 3) I noticed. I finally did a deep dive when the audio sounded funny, something I have experienced many times. When this happened I went to check earbuds fit in the wearable app and received a mesage that said it could not do the test while on a call. Clearly I'm not on a call in anyway. The only way to fix is to reboot phone. Before rebooting the phone, I cleared the memory closed apps etc... I even force stop on WhatsApp and that didn't work as recommended by a person on this forum.

did not work. I didn't do the battery thing but I did clear cache and force stop. I also have a weird behavior between calls and I wanted to known if all this related. But when making calls back to back, subsequent calls with my earbuds pro 3, I can Hear the person but they can not hear me. I would in most cases have to disconnect my buds then reconnect.  That's works about 90 percent of the time...

Samsung.... we have a problem...
