The stable One UI 8 update (Android 16) for the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to start rolling out in October 2025. Samsung usually updates the latest flagship first, so the Galaxy S25 series will get the stable build in September, followed by the Galaxy S24 series (including the Ultra) a few weeks later.

At the moment, the One UI 8 Beta is already available for the S24 series through the Samsung Members app. If you’d like to try the new features early, you can enroll in the beta from there (availability may vary by region).

If you prefer waiting for the stable version, just keep your device updated, you should see the official release notification around October 2025.

How to try the beta 8.0 ?

To join the One UI 8 beta (if it’s available in your region/device):

1. Open Samsung Members app → Check the Notices section or look for a “Join One UI Beta Program” banner on the home page.


2. Tap the banner, read the terms, and enroll.


3. After enrolling, go to Settings → Software update → Download and install to get the beta firmware.
