My opinion on One UI7

I must say that I like the feel of One UI7. It gives me S21FE a fresh feel to it. My only complaints are as follows

1 - the AOD notifications are not as nice as they were on One UI6. I liked that I could have my phone locked but preview a whatsapp message without unlocking the phone. I've tired all fixes but not the same.

2 - wow the battery drain is awful. I'm very unimpressed by it. I hope Samsung does something about this.

Most videos, suggest wipe cache partition and reset device. And have it learn usage patterns afresh. Been there done it. Still feeling the update pain

I second you on number 2.

While One UI7 looks nice, the battery drain on my S24U is not user friendly and I feel the OS was not polished enough.

I have tried all fixes and still no change. I have had to put my phone on light performance profile, Standard motion smoothness, and turn off battery protection just to have extra juice. On One UI6, I never relied on power save and I always used the 20% - 80% rule and I was getting 4hrs sot from 0800hrs till 1730hrs. But after the update. Using the 20-80 rule makes me charge the phone twice in a day😭😭. One UI7 got me engaged 💍 to Power saving routines😔. I hope they do find a fix in the near future

It's the latest privacy and security update, if you can preview your message without unlocking, anyone else other than you can, so it's an improvement on privacy.... Greater emphasis is now on privacy and security, if you've secured your phone when locked with pattern print etc, the assumption is you want privacy, so no one can read WhatsApp messages when device is locked
