Hello! Don't worry, let's try to locate your photos. Since you are using the S25 Ultra, please check these steps:

Check OneDrive/Google Photos Sync: Sometimes photos are moved to the cloud to save space. Check if "Free up device storage" was activated in your settings. Trash Folder: Open Gallery > Tap the three lines (Menu) > Trash. Photos stay there for 30 days before permanent deletion. Secure Folder: Check if you accidentally moved them to the 'Secure Folder'. Media Scanner Issue: Try restarting your phone or clearing the cache of the Gallery app (Settings > Apps > Gallery > Storage > Clear Cache). Files App: Look into the 'My Files' app under 'DCIM > Camera' to see if the files exist but aren't showing in the Gallery.

If none of these work, did you recently perform a software update or use any cleaning apps?"

Was there many photos 📸 ?

Click on Galary app > app info > permissions . See if its all normal

Same steps but choose storage and see if size did actually changed

P.s if you are using any kind of third-party file managers and changed the name of DCIM folder or hid it by mistake or even there's a dot ahead of it ( .DCIM) it may not be shown correctly 😉

Thank you for reaching out. Please follow these steps to recover your missing photos:

  1. Check Recycle Bin/Trash:
Open Gallery > Menu > Recycle Bin and restore if your photos are there.
  2. Check Cloud Backups:
Samsung Cloud: Go to Settings > Samsung Cloud > Gallery Sync to check.
Google Photos: Open Google Photos > Library > Trash to restore.
  3. Check Device Folders:
Look in Camera, Screenshots, or other device folders in Gallery.
  4. Check Secure Folder:
If using Secure Folder, go to Settings > Biometrics and Security > Secure Folder to check for hidden photos.
