My S24 Ultra screen is less vibrant than my S23 Ultra

I just got my S24 ultra. I an shocked to see the dullness of app icon colors in this phone when compared to my S23 ultra. They are very less punchy, less vibrant and having less contrast in them. It looks the VIVID mode is not at all working on this S24 Ultra.

Is this a software bug or is it something to stick with us forever due to a hardware issue?

If this is not a software bug, it feels like I was being cheated.

I feel like it is software issue because if you watch some hdr videos on YouTube the screen vibrancy looks fine, I believe the issue is with the UI itself the colours on chrome browser also looks pathetic

Camera is pathetic due to this new AI feature. Doesn't matter if you take pics in sunlight or low light condition this AI enhancement is always on and screw your images with unnecessary artifacts. Lowlight its really really pathetic due to AI over processing. Samsung should give option of disabling the AI completely

Samsung finally killed S series flagship! S24 ultra is turning out to be a disaster. I should have gone with vivo x100 pro. Even my old s23 ultra was much better. Washed out display, worst worst worst camera i have seen on any latest phones. My iqoo 12 takes much much better shots than this phone. I'll wait for an update, if it doesn't improve i might sell it off.

I agree with you, Ashwin. I didn't highlight it in this post, but the camera is also worst in this phone.

I am facing the same as well, and i really hope Samsung releases a software update which help fix all these washed out display, camera and other issues all together.

This is not a bug report kind of thing. We know how to do it. It's about the lack of vibrancy in color reproduction in the S24U device. This is not an INCIDENT type of thing to create a log file and report to you.

Well it's more of a software issue my friend purchased s24 ultra we both were checking it with my s23 ultra there toooo I found this screen issue and when checked in screen mode it's same when we put it in vivid and natural so this is more of a software issue guess samsung will rectify this
