Did you know that double tapping the multi window capacitive button let you switch back and forth from the current app to the previous app you are using? Works like an alt+tab function in a desktop. Try and see it for yourself. 😄
I have nougat 7.0 on my s7edge and yea it works 100%. Maybe you are trying to press the wrong button. Fyi multi window capacitive button is on the left side of the home button. Just incase u don't know bro 😊
