Mobile network issues

Hi, I got a S23 and put my old Sim in it. The mobile network seems to keep disconnecting and says emergency calls only. No data and no calls. It is driving me insane. My old phone S21FE did not have any network issues. Is the network module on the S23 so weak that it cannot stay connected?? What am I doing wrong?

Can you put the same sim in another phone and see if it reacts the same

Had that issue a while back on a different phone. Phone or go into your service provider store and ask them for a replacement sim card.
