Mic Mode - Have You Been Using it?

Hello Members, one of the “hidden” features that is not much talked about is the Mic Mode, that was introduced last year with the OneUI 6.1 update on the S24 series. 

This feature will let the AI focus on your voice during calls, while eliminating the noise in the background. 

The quality of the voice is reported to decrease when enabled, but it’s very helpful in environments where there’s a lot of noise in the background. Here’s how to enable it: 

• During a call, swipe down twice until you see the Mic Mode option. 

• Press on it. 

• Select one of the 2 available options, either the default setting Standard or Voice Focus. 

You will be able to see which mode is enabled when you swipe twice during the call, the video below will show you that mine was already set to Voice Focus.

Yes, I was using it on the S24 Ultra and now I'm using it on the S25 Ultra. Thank you for clarifying the world.

Hi Fox, did anyone on the other end of the call complain about the quality of audio when it's switched to Voice only?

I didn't see anyone complaining, I just complained about turning the call into a late spiker.
