Merge call history by contact

How to merge call history by contact name? Same number dialed so many times throughout the day in different intervals. Usually I dial around 5 numbers but recents running more than 50 entries. Third party dialers handle this efficiently. Recents list is bloated now, how to combine this by contact?

Any solution from samsung? I am forced to use third party dialers to over come this problem but I wish to use system dialer. 

Anyone can you please help.

Hello Jack,
I didn’t get your exact purpose.
If you need to get all the details about a single caller, just tap the name/number and tap the more info (i) button. It shows all history for that particular caller.
If you need to sort the list based on conditions like "missed calls", dialled calls" etc. You can tap "options" and "calls to show". Thank you.

hello sir,

 i have the same issue from S22 mobile .that have also no option for call log merge and for that the list of dial/ call history is long for same contact. if i find out for some other contact in call history i m irritate for down scrolling and overcome the repeated contacts. Vivo, oppo and other mobnuile have and also true caller have the faciility what we need.i think samsung  must look into this matter.

Why would I visit a service center for the feature you haven't released. Either you don't understand the feedback or no intention to understand what customer says

 this is 2023 May and I can confirm this feature still doesn't exist in one ui. look at the choas in the screenshot. Pathetic. I guess after a few years someone will come and confirm call logs merging feature still don't exist.

Also I don't understand if the samsung people still don't understand the issue or they act like they don't understand because this is not their priority.

Either they are ignoring us, or they don't bother with their customers, or they are too dumb to understand the problem.

This is being on for years and still they don't get it...

This is utterly frustrating, if I knew this I wouldn't have bought a samsung phone.

How can I merge recent call history? @s22
For example if I call X and then call Y and after some times again call X. Current setting shows the call logs as follows
X
Y
X
But I want call logs as
X (2)
Y

Samsung, this is the simplest form one who can explain the problem, kindly fixed this problem in next setting

Filter by incoming seems to work. The filter icon is third from the right.
