Galaxy SThank you for reaching out.
Regarding your issue with installing Microsoft 365 Copilot, kindly note that this application requires specific conditions such as supported region availability, compatible device specifications, and an active Microsoft 365 subscription with Copilot access.
Please ensure the following:
- Your device software is up to date
- Google Play Store and Google Play Services are updated
- You are signed in with the correct Microsoft account that has Copilot access enabled
- The app is available in your region
- If the issue persists, we recommend clearing cache and data for Google Play Store from:
Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Storage > Clear cache and data
Kindly note that installation and functionality of third-party applications are managed by their respective developers. Therefore, for further assistance, you may need to contact Microsoft support for detailed guidance regarding this application.

Galaxy SThank you for your detailed update and we understand how frustrating this situation can be.
We will address your points one by one:
- Device software is updated
Thank you for confirming. Since your device is fully updated, we can rule out outdated OS compatibility issues for now. - Google Play service updated
Noted. This is important and already eliminates one common installation blocker. - Forget signed in, it’s not even installing
This suggests the issue is happening at installation stage (not account sign-in). This is usually related to Play Store cache, device integrity check, or installation restrictions rather than login. - App is available in your region (India / UAE Play Store availability confirmed)
Understood. Since the app is available in both regions, region restriction is not the cause. However, Play Store region conflicts between accounts can still occasionally block installation attempts. - Tried cache clear and data, still not installing
Since clearing cache/data did not resolve it, we recommend additionally checking:
- Google Play Store update status (ensure latest version)
- Google Play Protect scan status
- Disable any VPN or private DNS temporarily
- Ensure sufficient internal storage is available
- Check if any Work Profile or Device Policy app is restricting installations
Given your use case (Microsoft Copilot / enterprise workflow), also consider the following important point:
Some Microsoft applications may require:
- Device certification (Play Protect certification)
- Compatible Android security level
- No conflicting enterprise management policies or restricted profiles
We recommend checking:
Settings > Security > Play Protect certification (must show “Device is certified”)
If the device is not certified or has any policy restriction, installation failures like this can occur even when the app is officially available.
Since Microsoft staff suggested a device issue, this typically aligns with:
- Device certification mismatch
- Hidden work profile restriction
- Play Store service conflict at system level
If all above checks are correct and the issue still persists, the next step would be a deeper system-level inspection.
