Hello Members, as promised, i wanted to share some stats about the S26 Ultra 1TB battery life after 3 weeks of use.
To say that I'm impressed is an understatement.
I was always vocal since i started my journey here on the forum in 2016 about the various device's battery life; critical when needed, not because i like to criticize Samsung or the phones, but always from a "You asked, We listened" perspective, for the company to hopefully listen, and improve, as well as give credit where due.
This is by far, the best battery life of a Samsung phone i have ever used in the past 10 years, nothing even comes close.
I can finally say that, because i have the same apps, same settings, and almost the same usage on daily basis, and rarely was able to get anything beyond 9 hours of Screen On Time before.This year, 10 to 11 hours of SOT is becoming the new standard.
After getting 13 hours of SOT at first, and as the days passed, i wanted to take a daily screenshot at 5% to show the different percentages and uses, but found myself drained before the phone did! I wanted to stay up for that, but in all honesty, many times failed to do so!
I even unplugged the phone after reaching 100% before going to sleep for a couple of days, not only i got 9, 10, 11 hours of SOT, but also unbelievable Standby times, where the phone lasted for 1 day 3 hours including the wonderful SOT.
The cherry on top this year is the Improved charging speeds which i discussed earlier but will show again here.
Well done Samsung, when all the pieces fell in together (Chipset, Screen, Optimization) you have outdone yourselves without the need to switch to Silicon Carbon nor increase the battery size, an absolute evolution in one of the most important category pillars that makes a phone great, love it.
The 3 different charging speeds:
1-Super Fast charging: 25W - 5% to 100% - 1 hour and 5 Minutes Untill Full.
2-Super Fast charging 2.0: 45 W - 5% to 100% - 53 Minutes Until Full.
3-Super Fast charging 3.0: 60W - 5% to 100% - 48 Minutes Until Full.
