The better was for experimental purposes, building up the the stable UI7, very few people had access to it, just as now a selected few people have the s25 ultra and have been using it and giving feedback on its performance, though it hasn't hit the market yet
I hear you...BUT why does Samsung insist on running their beta program significantly different to how other companies do it? Apple's beta program is open to everyone with a compatible device. Everyone on planet earth can download iOS 18.3 beta right now from any country. Same as Google with the Pixels. On the day they officially release the final build everyone gets it at the same time worldwide.
Why does Samsung do things very differently? Defend them all you want but their software update schedule and process is KAK and we deserve better from them.
For the OS updates, it's quit difficult as a significant number of samsung devices are carrier branded phones, so it's the carrier that will avail the update after their own customization, hence the varied update release dates..... limited access to beta programs helps manage damages and software glitches should they occur... better to incorporate everyone on the stable version
How does iOS do it to release the same update worldwide on the same day, at exactly the same hour to everybody? iOS users are on.phones that don't use carriers???🧐🤔🤭😂
Say for the 14 series there's 14, 14 plus, 14 pro and 14 Pro max and that's it.... they have no compatibility issues their devices are just high end and difference in software and strategy.... Not sure whether it is possible to get carrier branded devices on IOS,
