I've been experiencing frustrating issues with my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE while using Instagram. It seems like the app struggles to hold in memory, as after scrolling for a while and leaving it in the background, it refreshes when I return. Even taking a screenshot triggers a refresh. I've tried uninstalling the app and clearing cache memory, but the problem persists. This happened after the Android Security Patch Update on 1st August 2023. Does anyone else have this problem, and if someone knows the solution, that would be of great help. Thanks!

Have you tried checking if the battery has restricted access? Or if the battery is optimized for IG? It can be found in the app info, close the cache clearing section

Try enabling "Maintenance Mode" in Device Care Settings to fix the problem.
Be sure to click the 3 dots and " ✓ Accept as Solution" when you find an answer that works for you.
