Galaxy SEarlier, it was being rumored that the Galaxy S20 Ultra could be available only in a 5G variant. However, for markets like India where 5G networks are not yet available, it appears that Samsung has decided to disable 5G connectivity. Moreover, it is now confirmed that India will get the Exynos 990 variants of the Galaxy S20 series phones. If you were wondering, there is no 5G variant of the Galaxy Z Flip anywhere in the world.
The South Korean smartphone giant has put up a pre-registration page for all its newly announced smartphones. Interested consumers in India can now register themselves to receive important information such as pre-order dates, launch dates, offers, and pricing of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip. Indian pricing of the phones hasn’t been revealed yet.

Galaxy SRead Samsung India press release at INDIAN EXPRESS
as well as pre registration also open in India .. do some simple research than say something
remember Samsung in past do released handsets with 4G even before 2014 in India when there is not 4G spectrum issued for INDIAN telecom
it does not matter whether a country has 5G or not
