Au is the carrier it shows no updates at the moment

Can I remove the carrier access to my phone knowing that I relocated outside of Japan? and have the software update from samsung directly? I have additional settings that are in Japanese. Galaxy store is not updating, Samsung themes is not working.

You can change the firmware and try
Use any gsm version. Don't use a cdma version

Keep an original firmware in case something went wrong

Remember. Go sammibile.com and download 4 files firmware
You can easily search YouTube to see how it's done with Odin
