From the past to the present sequence, Samsung always gives the latest devices priority first, irrespective of its position and value in the lineups. Many Samsung device owners are always frustrated with this.
Then, there is this geo-locked thing that limits certain features to certain countries only.
Then, there is this thing where other countries get software updates first, then followed by other countries. (Updates are released in batches as they say)
If Samsung's not serving you well, it's a wise choice to leave and find a better alternative that works well for you.
It's very sad to hear that you're leaving the samsung community and the brand, but if you're dissatisfied with how samsung does things, it's your choice. I want to assure you that samsung products are the best compared to most phones that I have ever used. Some of the phones don't get a monthly update at all, you oonly get a software update once after a while. For me, samsung Services is the best compared to all the services I have received from other brands.
