A01 was released Jan 2020, so it makes sense to get Android 10 out of the box.
for S8 line, as known per samsung policy, any phone from samsung get 2 major updates and 3 years of security updates.

it is the ugly fact.. what ever phone you buy from Samsung, you will get only 2 major updates.

pixel from google will get better update policy.. just google their update policy !!
