Galaxy SPossible Fixes 🔧
1️⃣ Use Wireless Charging – If your phone refuses to charge via cable, try using a wireless charger. This can help turn it on without dealing with the moisture detection issue.
2️⃣ Cool Down the Port ❄️ – After a complete discharge, your phone might be slightly warm, triggering a false moisture warning. Try placing it in a cool, dry place for 15-30 minutes before charging.
3️⃣ Blow Dry the Port 💨 – Even if your phone hasn’t been exposed to water, lint, dust, or humidity might be causing the issue. Use a clean, dry cloth or gently blow air into the USB-C port.
4️⃣ Charge Using a PC/Laptop First 💻 – Sometimes, using a low-power USB port (like from a laptop) can help your phone start charging slowly before using a regular charger.
5️⃣ Try Safe Mode Boot 🚀 – If your phone manages to turn on but won’t charge, restart in Safe Mode to rule out any software issues. To do this:
Press & hold the power button until the power menu appears.
Tap & hold Power Off → Select Safe Mode and check if the issue persists.
6️⃣ Check for Software Updates 🛠️ – Samsung sometimes releases fixes for such bugs. Go to:
Settings → Software Update → Download & Install
7️⃣ Factory Reset as a Last Resort 🔄 – If nothing works, you may need to backup your data and perform a factory reset.
If the Issue Persists… 😓
➡️ Visit a Samsung Service Center 🏬 – This could be a hardware issue with the charging IC or moisture sensors. Since your phone is only 6 months old, warranty coverage might help you get it fixed for free.

Galaxy SDear Samsung Member,
Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!
We regret to hear about your experience with our product.
As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.
● Please perform the "Battery Status (Battery life + Battery Capacity)" test using the Samsung Members app.
Open the Samsung Members app (Battery Status (Battery life + Battery Capacity))
● Battery life depends on how the battery is used. Note that different devices have different battery life. The expected battery life for your model can be found in the manual.
● Please always use a standard charging procedure. Always charge in one go instead of charging many times as it affects the life span of the battery and battery performance.
● Perform Battery Optimization: Battery optimization helps you boost the battery performance of your device. To check battery optimization:
Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage, and Memory
● Turn off Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, NFC, etc . when not in use.
● We recommend you avoid using in areas with low network/fluctuation because these cause the battery to drain very fast.
● Reduce the display brightness level or set the device to auto-brightness mode.
Swipe down on the home screen to open the notification panel
Turn on the Auto-brightness option if available.
It will automatically adjust the display brightness of your device according to ambient light & will reduce battery drainage.
● Adjust screen timeout settings: Settings >> Display >> Screen timeout >> Select the minimum screen timeout.
● Kindly check which application or interface is using more battery from device care and try to update the app or avoid using that app.
● Close background running apps.
● We request you to turn off the auto-sync option, it will stop the synchronization of the device with the server & reduce the battery drainage.
Swipe down on the home screen to open the notification panel.
Turn off the auto-sync option.
Update the software if available: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-how-to-update-software/
You can reset your device by following the steps:
● Kindly create a data backup of your device via the SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
● Remember the Google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
● If you do not remember then reset (Forgot password) your Google account.
Path: Settings> General Management.>Reset>Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup>After backup tab on Factory data reset to reset your device to its factory default settings.
This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps.
If the issue still occurs, please visit the service Centre for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service Centre with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/
Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
