Galaxy SWe are social and we live around our sweet family and cunning friends 😉. Many times they ask for our phone to call and do something else and out of curiosity they tend to explore our whole phone specially Gallery ! So, how about preventing them from moving to other apps from the one they have asked to use on your phone ?
The answer is Pin Window. This is not so unknown feature but I will try to explain more about this feature provided in our devices.
For activating this,
1. goto Settings -> Lock and Security Settings -> Other security settings -> Pin Window
2. Press on Pin Window text and it will expand the settings.
3. Turn On the feature.
Description :
Pin a specific app on your device screen. While an app is pinned, calling, messaging, and other functions may not be available. Access to other apps will be prevented.
To pin an app to the screen:
1. Turn on Pin windows.
2. Open an app.
3. Press the Recents button.
4. Tap lock icon in the lower right corner of the window to keep the app on the screen.
As soon as you lock the window you will see below instructions on how to unpin.
Pro Tip:
While anyone who is using your phone, may know how to exit pinned screen and may still end up using exploring your personal life.
So, turn on Use screen lock type to unpin.
Now, as soon as someone unpins the window, they will return to your lock screen!
Thanks you guys!
